Your First Visit
Know what to expect before you arrive. This is how we can make your care runs smoothly.
Before You Arrive
Allow enough time for your first appointment.
Bring any referral forms, scan results, or medical reports you may have.
If you are coming for an ACC-related injury, bring your ACC number if you already have one. If not, we can help you lodge it.
If you are a complex case or have a history of a recurring injury, feel free to jot down a timeline with important information to bring along to help us navigate the first appointment.
During Your Appointment.
You’re physiotherapist will:
Take a detailed history of how your injury or pain began and how it affects your life.
Perform a physical assessment checking movement, strength, and function.
Explain what's happening in plain language and answer any questions.
Begin treatment. This may include hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, or other techniques based on your needs.
We take a whole-body approach, so your treatment plan considers not just the site of pain, but the contributing factors: posture, movement, lifestyle, and recovery patterns.
After your appointment
You'll leave with a clear rehabilitation plan, exercises, strategies, and follow-up recommendations.
Most clients start feeling improvement within a few sessions, but will review progress regularly and adjust as needed.
If you're eligible for ACC, we will confirm your co-payment and manage the claim process for you.
What happens next
You can book your follow-up appointments online, by phone, or with us before you leave.
Still have questions? You can book an appointment and we can discuss them with you there. Otherwise, feel free to get in contact with us here and we will respond to you when we're not with patients.
